PIGG’S PEAK– Owners of unauthorised outdoor advertising structures in Pigg’s Peak have been given 14 days to remove them, as the town council rolls out a town-wide initiative to regulate outdoor advertising and promote orderly urban development.

The directive was announced by Pigg’s Peak Town Council according to a press statement issued on February 19, 2026.

The council, acting in accordance with the Urban Government Act of 1969, has engaged Super Signs as the official service provider responsible for the installation and management of authorised outdoor advertising structures within the town.

As part of the initiative, the council will conduct a campaign to remove outdoor advertising platforms that were erected without proper authorisation. The exercise is being carried out in line with Section 35 of the Urban Government Regulations, under Section 115 of the Act.

Affected structures include billboards, directional signs, street name pole signs and other service-related signage. The council warned that any unauthorised structures not removed within the 14-day period will be removed by the municipality.

The move is intended to ensure compliance with municipal regulations, improve visual order and support effective town planning.

Members of the public seeking further information or clarity are encouraged to contact the Pigg’s Peak Town Council Planning Section on 2437 1046 or 2437 3095.

The council reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a well-regulated and organised urban environment for residents, businesses and visitors to Pigg’s Peak.
