LOBAMBA- For hotel workers, taxi operators and caterers, large conferences bring business.
The International Convention Centre is set to become a new engine of opportunity.

An additional E100 million has been allocated to ensure the ICC is fully operational ahead of its April 2026 opening.

“It symbolises Eswatini’s ambition to position itself as a premier regional destination for conferences, trade expos and international events,” the Minister said.

The facility is expected to stimulate tourism, hospitality, aviation and related services, creating thousands of jobs and boosting foreign exchange earnings.

For small enterprises, the ICC offers expanded markets and new revenue streams, positioning the country competitively within the region.
