MBABANE– Rising Eswatini artist and guitarist, Celumusa M, is set to captivate music lovers with his highly anticipated single, “Nguwe,” featuring the talented Stella Jacobs.
Although initially planned for Valentine’s Day, the artist rescheduled the drop for late March to ensure the track receives the attention it deserves.
“Nguwe” is a poignant exploration of transformation and the power of love. Celumusa M explains that the song reflects on how finding the right partner can serve as a catalyst for growth, helping a man become a better version of himself. “The main message is about love—how a man becomes a better human when he finds true love, and the positive change it brings into one’s life,” the artist shared.
The single features Stella Jacobs, a notable figure in the local industry who owns the record label Gem of Africa. Having recently released her own track, “Bayethe,” she brings a compelling energy to this collaboration. Fans of both artists have been eagerly awaiting this soulful and resonant release.
This project is the result of an intensive, collaborative effort. Produced by Nkosinathi “Dj Navie” Dube, the track boasts a rich, organic soundscape featuring Nhlonipho Mamba on keys and bass guitar, and the intricate lead guitar work of Sisa Sambo.
As a skilled guitarist himself, Celumusa M brings a unique musicality to the project, ensuring the composition is both technically sound and deeply emotional. The project’s visual identity is equally intentional, with cover art designed by Simelane Sandile and photography captured by Bhek’muzi Bk.
Celumusa M expressed deep gratitude for his team, particularly highlighting the essential support of Phumelela Mndzebele. Mndzebele has been a cornerstone of the project, consistently connecting the artist with the right creative partners, overseeing the recording sessions, and ensuring smooth logistics and studio transport throughout the production journey.
Before “Nguwe,” Celumusa M built his discography with a focus on emotive storytelling and authentic sound. His previous work has established him as a dedicated storyteller and musician, drawing from themes of growth, sincerity, and human connection. His earlier releases served as vital stepping stones, allowing him to refine his vocal delivery, guitar-playing prowess, and production style.
While the exact release date is yet to be finalised, “Nguwe” is confirmed for a late-March drop. Once released, the song will be available on major digital music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.
