LOBAMBA – The King praised emaSwati for resilience and unity.
“Forty years have not been a straight road… the COVID-19 pandemic caused untold suffering,” he said.
“Yet, through every trial, emaSwati did not break. We overcame,” he added.
He emphasized unity as a strength.
“You have consistently granted me peace and dialogue,” he said.
On the global stage, Eswatini has strengthened its presence.
“Our Kingdom has steadily consolidated its sovereignty,” he noted.
“Our foreign policy is simple, ‘Asinasitsa – we have no enemies,’” he said.
Reflecting on leadership, he highlighted trust.
“The greatest gift a leader can receive is the trust of his people,” he said.
“I will continue to serve with devotion… the throne exists for the people,” he concluded.
