LOBAMBA – Renowned South African ministers Apostle Victor Mahlaba and Dr Thabisile Mahlaba are set to headline the highly anticipated Gathering of Eagles Annual Convention 2026 at Lobamba Christian Revival Centre (CRC).
A revival meeting is expected to draw hundreds of worshippers from across Eswatini and neighbouring countries.This was confirmed by Nonkhululeko Shiba during an interview with Eswatini Positive News on May 18, 2026.
The five-day convention will run from May 20 to 24, 2026 under the theme “Get Up and Eat for Adequate Sustenance” drawn from 1 Kings 19:17, with services taking place at the Lobamba Christian Revival Centre Auditorium.
The revival will be hosted by CRC Senior Pastor Pastor D. Shongwe alongside several local ministers including Reverend S. Msibi, Reverend S. Mamba, Apostle N. Hlatshwayo and Pastor B. Khumalo.
The upcoming convention has generated excitement within Christian circles following confirmation that the Mahlabas will once again minister in Eswatini after their powerful revival meetings held in the country in 2023.
Apostle Victor Mahlaba and Dr Thabisile Mahlaba last ministered in Eswatini during a multi-day revival at Kwaluseni Alliance Church hosted by Reverend Richard Dlamini from February 27 to March 4, 2023.
The revival services were widely praised by congregants, who described the gatherings as spiritually uplifting and life-changing, characterised by intense worship, prayer and powerful biblical teachings.
During the 2023 revival, Apostle Victor Mahlaba preached messages centred on the renewal of the mind, spiritual identity and dependence on the Holy Spirit, while Dr Thabisile Mahlaba delivered teachings focusing on holiness, prayer, family values and youth empowerment.
Dr Mahlaba has become widely recognised across the region for sermons encouraging believers to uphold godly character, remain spiritually disciplined and strengthen their relationship with God through prayer and fasting.
Among her notable teachings are “The Restoration of Holiness,” “A Woman of Noble Character,” and “I Can Not Come Down,” messages that continue to resonate strongly with many Christians.
Organisers of the Gathering of Eagles Annual Convention say this year’s event is expected to be one of the biggest editions yet as believers prepare for five days of worship, fellowship and spiritual renewal.
