MBABANE – Eswatini-based artist Mbongwa Nyoni, popularly known as ProRBS, has released a new heartfelt single titled “Mnganami”, featuring Histo, a track centred on friendship, loyalty and emotional connection.
The young Hip-Hop and Afro-Pop artist from Ezulwini, Mvutjini, continues to grow his presence in the local music scene with music inspired by real-life experiences and personal reflection. He describes music as more than a hobby, calling it a calling that allows him to express emotions, stories and life lessons through sound.
ProRBS explained that his stage name represents growth, professionalism and identity, serving as a reminder to remain focused and committed to his artistic journey. His music blends Hip-Hop and Afro-Pop, a combination he says allows him to connect deeply with listeners while expressing himself freely.
“My music speaks about real-life situations, love, relationships, hope and personal growth. I want people to relate to it and feel inspired,” he said. Growing up in Ezulwini played a major role in shaping his sound and perspective. He said the community exposed him to different people, cultures and experiences that continue to influence his songwriting today.
Over the years, ProRBS has performed on various platforms and shared stages with artists such as Mduduzi Ncube and Shasha, experiences he describes as important moments in his development as a performer.
His latest release, “Mnganami”, produced by DJ Citie and officially released on 30 May 2026, carries a strong message about valuing genuine friendships. The title translates to “My Friend” and focuses on loyalty, support and appreciating those who stand by us through life’s challenges.
ProRBS said the inspiration for the song came from real-life experiences and observations about human relationships. He added that collaborating with Histo brought depth to the project, praising him as a storyteller whose style helped deliver the song’s message more powerfully. The track is available on major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok and Facebook, with a YouTube release also accessible for fans.
Fans are also encouraged to stay alert for a possible music video, as the artists are considering visuals to further bring the emotional message of the song to life. ProRBS is currently working on new music and future collaborations as he aims to grow his reach locally and internationally while representing Eswatini on bigger stages.
He expressed gratitude to supporters for embracing “Mnganami”, encouraging continued streaming and sharing of the track. “This is only the beginning. More great music is on the way,” he said.
