EZULWINI – As excitement builds towards the 10th Agape Edition of the Embiveni Biggest Braai, Happy Valley Hotel has reaffirmed its commitment to community development by unveiling a premium hospitality sponsorship package that will help make one of Eswatini’s biggest charity lifestyle events a memorable success.

The announcement was made during a press briefing held at Happy Valley Hotel on Friday, July 3, 2026, where the hotel outlined its continued partnership with the Philani Maswati Charity Organisation, an initiative under His Majesty The Indlovukazi’s Philani Programme, which promotes community upliftment and compassion-driven development across the Kingdom.

Happy Valley Hotel Sales and Marketing Manager Nontsikelelo Dlamini revealed that the premium hospitality package includes VIP catering for 70 guests as well as six luxury accommodation rooms reserved for artists, including South African music sensation Makhadzi.

Dlamini said the hotel continues to prioritise meaningful community impact over the disclosure of monetary figures, noting that value is measured through social contribution and long-term partnerships.

“Today is more than just a sponsorship announcement. It is a celebration of a partnership that has continued to grow over the years, a partnership founded on shared values, mutual respect, and a common desire to make a meaningful contribution to the Kingdom of Eswatini,” she said.

She further highlighted that the hotel’s involvement reflects both national development aspirations and its commitment to world-class hospitality that extends beyond service delivery into community impact.

“We believe that world-class hospitality is measured not only by the quality of our facilities but also by the positive impact we make in the communities we serve,” Dlamini said.

Philani Maswati Charity Organisation Chairperson Lutfo Dlamini said the initiative was established under the guidance of His Majesty The Indlovukazi’s vision of spreading agape love, adding that the 10th edition represents a significant milestone in a journey of service to the nation.

“The Her Majesty has sent us to spread agape love across communities through acts of service, compassion and support for the vulnerable. This 10th Agape Edition is a continuation of that mission and a reminder of why this movement exists,” he said.

He further noted that the organisation continues to expand its reach through strategic partnerships under His Majesty The Indlovukazi’s Philani Programme.

“This partnership is not just about hospitality support; it is about people coming together to change lives,” he said.

“We are truly grateful to Happy Valley Hotel for standing with us once again. Their contribution plays a major role in ensuring that this event continues to grow and benefit vulnerable members of our society.”

“This initiative has become more than an event. It is a movement that brings hope, dignity, and support to those who need it most,” he said.

The Embiveni Biggest Braai 2026, marking its 10th Agape Edition, will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Mavuso Trade Centre in Manzini. The event continues to position itself as one of Eswatini’s leading lifestyle and charity platforms.

This year’s entertainment lineup includes Makhadzi, Feza Langa, Bandora, Obsession, Ayacity, Carrency, Junior De DJ, DJ Snypber, Lord F, and Thaifo Son, with NQABA as master of ceremonies.

Beyond entertainment, all proceeds will support vulnerable children and elderly citizens across Eswatini. A free health screening and outreach programme will also be held on July 18 at the Philani Mantsonga Centre in Mliba.
