MORDA BONGZ SET TO RETURN TO ESWATINI AS KOTA FESTIVAL 2026 ADDS HITMAKER TO LINE-UP

MANZINI- South African music producer, DJ and vocalist Morda Bongz is set to make another return to Eswatini after being confirmed as one of the headline acts for the inaugural Kota Festival Eswatini 2026.

The former Black Motion member, who has previously performed in the Kingdom on several occasions, will once again entertain local fans when he takes to the stage at the Malkerns Country Club on 24 October 2026. Organised by Goldex Events, the festival will run from 10am to 10pm.

Morda’s return is expected to excite dance music lovers who have followed his journey both as a member of the award-winning duo Black Motion and as a successful solo artist. Over the years, he has become one of Africa’s most celebrated Afro-house producers, known for his electrifying live performances and signature sound.

The hitmaker is widely recognised for popular songs including Mohigan Sun, Home, Summer Love, Sakhile, and Forever Yena, while his time with Black Motion also produced fan favourites such as Joy Joy, Imali and Rainbow. His catalogue has earned him a loyal following across Southern Africa and beyond.

The Kota Festival promises to blend great music with one of Southern Africa’s favourite street foods, creating a full-day lifestyle experience featuring live entertainment, food vendors and family-friendly activities.

Organisers have encouraged attendees to embrace this year’s dress theme, “All White with a Touch of Yellow,” adding a fashionable touch to the festival atmosphere.

Early bird tickets are currently on sale, with adults paying E150, students E100, children E80, while VIP tickets are available for E800. Children aged 0 to 2 years will be admitted free of charge. Parking will cost E50, empty cooler boxes will be allowed, and tickets can be purchased through Computicket and MojaTicket. Organisers have also confirmed that no tickets will be sold at the gate.

Having already built a strong connection with Eswatini audiences through his previous performances, Morda’s return is expected to be one of the standout moments of the inaugural Kota Festival, with fans eager to once again experience his energetic stage presence.
