MALKERNS- The Eswatini Rugby Union will host Mozambique in an international rugby friendly at Malkerns Country Club on Saturday, July 11, as the national side looks to test itself against regional opposition.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 1:00pm under the theme “One Nation. One Passion,” with supporters urged to rally behind the Sables in what promises to be an exciting cross-border encounter.
The fixture forms part of a full day of rugby, with fans also set to witness a Rugby Legends Showdown between the Eswatini Rugby Legends and Matsulu Mambas Rugby Legends from South Africa. The veterans’ clash will get underway at 11:30am at the same venue.
The Eswatini Rugby Union has called on rugby enthusiasts to fill the stands and support the national team as they take on Mozambique, promoting the values of pride, honour and unity.
The encounter is expected to provide valuable international exposure for the Sables while strengthening rugby ties between Eswatini and Mozambique ahead of future regional competitions.
