EZULWINI – For a celebration built on two decades of music, memories and entertainment, the venue is more than just a backdrop. It becomes part of the story.
As Swazi Boy Entertainment marks its 20th anniversary, Happy Valley Hotel has positioned itself not merely as a place where the celebrations will happen, but as a hospitality partner helping bring the milestone to life.
Speaking during the official launch of the 20th anniversary celebrations at Happy Valley Hotel yesterday, Sales and Marketing Manager Nontsikelelo Dlamini, representing her manager, said the hotel’s involvement goes beyond sponsorship.
“We are partners, not just sponsors,” said Dlamini.
She said the partnership reflects the hotel’s commitment to supporting major entertainment events and creating experiences that bring people together.
Happy Valley Hotel will serve as the hospitality partner for the three-day anniversary celebration, providing four-star accommodation, food and beverages to guests attending the milestone festivities.
Dlamini said the hotel has also curated special discounted accommodation rates for the celebration, while ensuring that food and drinks remain affordable for guests.
She said Swazi Boy’s guests would effectively become Happy Valley Hotel’s guests, with the hotel committed to giving them the hospitality experience it is known for.
“Our role in this partnership goes beyond simply providing a venue. We are proud to be the hospitality partner responsible for four-star accommodation, food and beverages,” she said.
The partnership comes as Swazi Boy Entertainment celebrates 20 years of contributing to Eswatini’s entertainment landscape, making the milestone significant not only for the entertainment brand but also for artists, creatives, partners, fans and businesses connected to the industry.
Dlamini said the collaboration aligns with Happy Valley Hotel’s vision of being a destination for entertainment, business, leisure and major events.
She added that the hotel wants the anniversary celebration to create memories that will last well beyond the three-day programme.
“We are committed to making sure that this celebration is one that we will all remember for 20 more years to come,” she said.
Dlamini also expressed appreciation to Swazi Boy Entertainment for choosing Happy Valley Hotel as a partner for the landmark celebration.
The partnership highlights the role of hospitality establishments in supporting the creative economy, particularly through providing spaces, accommodation and services that enable entertainment events to attract audiences and create memorable experiences.
For Swazi Boy, the 20th anniversary is therefore not only a celebration of where the entertainment brand has been, but also an opportunity to bring different players in the industry together as it looks towards the next chapter.
