MPAKA – Eswatini’s rising hip hop star Nkos’khona Vincent Dlamini, better known as Blaq Panda, has released the much-anticipated music video for his latest single, “Ang’qhomanga”, featuring fellow talent As 4 JerryP. The video dropped on 26 August 2025 and is already making waves across the local music scene.

Filmed at the bustling Siteki bus rank, the video bursts with life and colour, perfectly matching the energy of the track. Directed by King Helton, the visuals capture the spirit of community, culture, and togetherness that lie at the heart of the song. The cast includes familiar faces such as ABN, Alec the Father’s Hope, and Seime Stones DPR, who all add vibrancy to the storytelling.

A Grounded Star

Blaq Panda, who started writing music in 2016 while still in Form 2 at Malindza High School, says he draws inspiration from his life experiences and challenges. His early fascination with South Africa’s Blaq Diamond set him on a creative journey that has steadily built his reputation in Eswatini’s music industry.

Known for his humility despite growing fame, Blaq Panda makes his grounded approach clear in “Ang’qhomanga” when he raps: “I’m friendly, and I’m not a celebrity; it’s just the music that’s loving me!”

Collaboration with As 4 JerryP

The track also features As 4 JerryP, the artist behind the hit “Mlentengamunye”. Their collaboration fuses unique lyrical styles and energies, creating a powerful synergy that appeals to both loyal fans and new listeners. The chemistry between the two artists brings freshness to the Eswatini hip hop scene, showing the strength of collaboration in driving African music forward.

Celebration of Life and Culture

With its catchy hooks and celebratory vibe, “Ang’qhomanga” is more than just a hip hop track – it is a soundtrack to joy, resilience, and everyday life in Eswatini. The music video amplifies this spirit with rich cultural references and an atmosphere that radiates positivity.

As Blaq Panda’s star continues to rise, “Ang’qhomanga” cements his position as one of the most exciting voices in the kingdom’s music scene. Meanwhile, As 4 JerryP’s involvement highlights the collaborative creativity shaping Eswatini’s modern music industry.
