MBABANE – The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) is actively searching for three suspects linked to a series of armed robbery incidents reported in Matsapha, Sidvokodvo and Manzini.
Police say the suspects allegedly carry out house break-ins while armed with knives and bush knives, forcing entry into homes and demanding valuables such as cell phones, laptops, refrigerators and other electronic appliances. In several cases, they are reported to have intimidated families and threatened children to ensure compliance.
REPS confirmed that all three suspects are currently out on bail for similar offences, and investigations have already led to the recovery of some stolen items, including cell phones.
The police are urging the public to stay alert and work closely with law enforcement by reporting any information that may assist in the swift arrest of the suspects. Members of the public are encouraged to contact the numbers provided on the official REPS infographics should they spot or have knowledge of the suspects’ whereabouts.
Community vigilance and timely reporting remain key in dismantling crime syndicates and keeping communities safe.
