MBABANE – A vibrant mix of food, music and family-friendly entertainment is set to take centre stage this Saturday, 11 April, as Candana Ja! returns to Mbabane Meat Plaza from 10am to 3pm.
The highly anticipated event promises a relaxed and exciting atmosphere, with free entry for all attendees. Guests can look forward to live DJ performances, fun activities, and a unique braai experience featuring free pap and expertly prepared meat.
According to the event’s marketing officer Nana Odonkor, the goal is to deliver a memorable, high-quality experience. “We’re aiming for nothing short of a first-class, feel-good experience. Think of it as the perfect blend of great food, great music, and great company,” they said.
Candana Ja! is designed to cater to a wide audience, from families to food lovers and music enthusiasts. “We’re targeting everyone who appreciates the finer things in life, especially when it comes to food and entertainment. If you love good vibes, great meat, and even better company, there’s no better place to be,” Odonkor added.
The event will feature a strong entertainment lineup including DJ Lady Zee, Ayacity, Obsession, Sgitha, gospel artist Linda Dlamini, Christian Maz and Phindo Sithole. The performances are being actively promoted through social media to build excitement. “We’re using engaging content and eye-catching posters to spotlight our incredible lineup and make sure each act gets its moment,” Odonkor explained.
Beyond entertainment, attendees also stand a chance to win prizes. Shoppers who spend E100 at the Meat Plaza will be entered into a draw to win E500 in cash plus a E500 meat voucher. “It’s our way of saying thank you while adding even more excitement to the day,” they said.
Ultimately, organisers want guests to leave with lasting memories. “We want people to remember how it felt to be there. If they say, ‘That was something different… that was special,’ then we’ve done our job,” Nan concluded.
