BUHLENI – A warehouse that was previously at the centre of a dispute involving the Buhleni Municipality has entered a new chapter, with the premises now operating as City Builders following renovations and a change of tenant.
The development marks a fresh start for the property, which had previously traded under the Build It name and attracted municipal attention over activities and developments taking place at the premises.
Property owner Malamlela Ndwandwe has clarified that the recent construction work at the warehouse was undertaken to prepare the building for a new tenant and should not be interpreted as the previous business continuing operations under another name.
According to Ndwandwe, the renovations were specifically carried out to accommodate City Builders, which has since taken occupation of the premises.
The transition offers a new business identity for the property and could also provide an opportunity for the premises to make a renewed contribution to commercial activity in Buhleni.
