NHLANGANO – The Eswatini International Trade Fair (EITF) brought the excitement to the people of Nhlangano on July 18, 2025 through a lively business pop-up event held at Zam Zam Complex. The initiative, led by the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA), aimed to raise awareness and build anticipation for the upcoming trade fair.

Speaking at the event, EITF Spokesperson Siphesihle Nkhabindze said:
“We are glad to be in Nhlangano today, spreading the news about the upcoming EITF. We’ve made a deliberate effort to visit our communities as part of our mandate as EIPA—to enhance trade and investment opportunities for emaSwati and position Eswatini as an investment destination of choice.”

Nkhabindze also expressed gratitude to the EITF partners who joined the roadshow, which included EBIS, KIA, Eswatini TV, Channel S, Buy Eswatini, WesBank, and FNB. These partners used the platform to engage directly with the public and promote their products and services.
Local Brands on Display
True to the EITF’s commitment to showcasing local enterprise, the pop-up event featured several home-grown brands. Skyem, a natural skincare company; Sunkissed, a local jam producer; and Master Candy, a confectionery brand, proudly exhibited their products to the delight of attendees.

Adding flair to the festivities were popular local personalities Jaha and Ngabisa, who helped energise the crowd and draw attention to the event.
“The companies present today have all expressed their intention to participate in this year’s EITF,” Nkhabindze continued. “We invited them here not only to educate emaSwati about their services but also to build excitement ahead of the trade fair. Stay tuned to our social media platforms to see where we’ll pop up next!”
More Pop-Ups Ahead
As the EITF countdown continues, Nkhabindze confirmed that similar roadshows will be held in other towns and cities across the country.
“We’re taking the EITF to the people. This is more than just a fair—it’s a national platform to connect, grow, and shine,” she concluded.
The Eswatini International Trade Fair is expected to be one of the country’s largest business exhibitions of the year, attracting both local and international participants.
