MBABANE – In just 90 days, Eswatini Positive News (EPN) has made digital waves, capturing the attention and hearts of millions worldwide.

From March 14 to June 11, the platform recorded a staggering 16 million views, a 53% increase from the previous 90-day cycle—affirming its role as a beacon of positivity in the digital landscape.

The numbers tell a story of impact and momentum. Video content continues to dominate, with over 3.2 million 3-second views and nearly a quarter-million 1-minute views, while even short-form reels saw over 78 000 views. The data shows that EPN’s content is not only being consumed, but also appreciated, shared, and celebrated.

Engagement is also on a meteoric rise, reaching 1.7 million total interactions—a remarkable 63% growth. This includes likes, shares, comments, and saves, with 52.6% of that engagement coming from video content alone. Even more encouraging is that a majority of these interactions (54.9%) are coming from non-followers, a sign that the ripple effect of positive news is expanding well beyond EPN’s loyal base.

Another significant triumph is the surge in followers. EPN grew its community by nearly 30 000 net new followers, reaching an impressive total of 85 278—a 52% boost in just three months. Videos drove an astounding 92.9% of these new follows, confirming their unmatched ability to inspire and draw people in.

While video leads the charge, photos have emerged as a surprising standout. In the past seven days alone, photo content has surged by 226%, outperforming all other formats and offering a new creative frontier for future engagement.

Importantly, EPN’s reach is diversifying:

  • 8% of people discover the platform through videos,
  • 29% via multi-photo posts,
  • And 17.5% through single-image content.

This well-rounded distribution underscores the team’s strategic versatility in delivering uplifting stories in formats that resonate with different audiences.

“These insights reflect the heartbeat of a nation longing for good news—and a global audience eager to engage with Eswatini’s success stories,” said the EPN editorial team. “Our mission to uplift, inform, and inspire remains stronger than ever.”

As Eswatini Positive News continues its upward journey, one thing is clear: positivity is not just a story—it’s a movement. And it’s being led, boldly and brightly, from the Kingdom of Eswatini to the world.
