EZULWINI – His Majesty King Mswati III has hailed the Ezulwini Palazzo (ICC) as a landmark development that is placing Eswatini firmly on the global map, after hosting the President of Taiwan, Lai Ching-te, during a tour of the facility on May 3, 2026.
The visit by the Taiwanese leader is being seen as a major endorsement of the country’s growing conference and tourism infrastructure, with the King expressing pride that the modern facility continues to attract high-level international visitors.
King praises ICC as a symbol of national pride and local craftsmanship
His Majesty said he was pleased that the Ezulwini Palazzo was constructed by local EmaSwati, describing it as a demonstration of national capability and unity.

“I am very happy that this state-of-the-art building is attracting people from around the world, including President Lai Ching-te,” the King said.
