MBABANE– FNB Eswatini has once again been recognised for its outstanding commitment to responsible business practices after being crowned the most tax-compliant financial and insurance business (large) for the fourth consecutive year.
The prestigious award was presented during the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) Client Appreciation Day held at Happy Valley Hotel in Ezulwini on Friday, July 10, 2026, where organisations that demonstrate excellence in tax compliance and good corporate citizenship were honoured.
FNB Eswatini has dominated the category since the establishment of the ERS Client Appreciation Day in 2023, reinforcing its reputation as a responsible financial institution committed to supporting Eswatini’s economic development.
FNB Eswatini Chief Executive Officer Thokozani ‘TK’ Dlamini said the continued recognition reflected the bank’s commitment to transparency, accountability and contributing positively to the country.
“As a business, we understand that faithfully declaring our taxes has a positive ripple effect on our people, our communities and the country at large. We are therefore proud to continue holding ourselves to the highest standards in how we manage our affairs,” said Dlamini.
He said tax compliance was not only a regulatory responsibility but also an important contribution towards building a stronger economy and improving the lives of emaSwati.
“We understand that when we invest in Eswatini, Eswatini grows. And that speaks exactly to our commitment to the country, ‘Sitintile Eswatini, futsi asiyindzawo,” Dlamini said.
The CEO added that FNB Eswatini remained committed to finding innovative ways to support national development and expand its positive impact across communities.
“We have begun our new financial year with a renewed commitment, ‘Help is for Everyone.’ We are challenging ourselves to ensure that as we serve emaSwati, our help speaks to every single liSwati, wherever they are,” he said.
Dlamini noted that the bank had lined up various initiatives aimed at enhancing financial inclusion, supporting businesses and creating meaningful opportunities for communities throughout the country.
Meanwhile, FNB Eswatini has strengthened its contribution to improving trade efficiency after becoming the first local bank to successfully complete the integration between its payment platforms and the ERS Automated System for Customs Data (ASYCUDA) trade system.
The breakthrough allows payments made through FNB payment platforms into the ERS Customs Bank Account to reflect in near real time on clients’ ASYCUDA accounts, significantly improving convenience for traders.
The integration is expected to simplify the customs declaration process, reduce administrative delays and provide businesses with a faster and more seamless payment experience.
Through its continued investment in innovation, compliance and customer-focused solutions, FNB Eswatini continues to demonstrate its role as a strategic partner in supporting economic growth and development in the Kingdom.
