EZULWINI– What began as simple TikTok videos has turned into a growing source of hope and inspiration for Okuhlekwethu Lindokuhle Lushaba, widely known as LaClicks or Temaclicks, a young shop assistant cashier at Clicks Gables who now boasts over 60 000 followers on TikTok.
The first-born of three siblings, Lushaba is balancing work, personal growth and content creation while chasing a bigger dream. “I am determined to succeed despite my circumstances. My journey is just beginning,” he said.
Raised between Nhlangano eMahlalini and Ludzeludze, Lushaba describes his upbringing as humble but powerful. He attended Ludzeludze Primary School, Zombodze National High School and completed his EGCSE at Somnjalose High School. “My upbringing taught me resilience, humility and the importance of hard work,” he explained.
At work, he focuses on customer service and positivity. “I make sure I give my all in terms of energy and a smile, most of all making people happy,” he said. Beyond the store, he spends time creating content and engaging with his audience.
His motivation comes from a desire to uplift himself and others, while promoting local talent. “I use Swazi music to show that success can also happen here at home,” he said. He added that meeting followers in real life has been encouraging. “Some people greet me at work or on the street. That pushes me to do more.”
Despite facing criticism and negativity, Lushaba remains focused. “People will always talk, but I know what I want and I do not take it to heart,” he said.
He credits his family and close friends for their support and strength. Looking ahead, Lushaba hopes to further his studies and become a doctor. “I want to build a better life for my family and inspire others,” he said.
He also encourages others to stay consistent. “Never give up, just press record. One video can change your life,” he said.
