The 8th edition of the Luju Festival will, for the very first time, take place from Saturday 1st to Sunday 2nd August 2026, at House On Fire in the beautiful Malkerns Valley of Eswatini. Festivalgoers are invited to immerse themselves in an even bigger celebration of food, fashion, music and culture.

The Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival is a lavish two-day celebration of culinary exploits, high-end fashion, Afrocentric music and wholesome family-friendly entertainment. Recognised as one of Southern Africa’s leading food and fashion events, Luju continues to celebrate the sophistication and elegance of African style, cultures, creative design and delicacies through an immersive and tastefully curated festival experience.

Festivalgoers can expect an unforgettable showcase of celebrity chef demonstrations, connoisseur-led premium wine and whiskey experiences, world-class regional fashion showcases and electrifying live music performances, all set against the magical backdrop of House On Fire. From bold flavours and cutting-edge African fashion to soulful music and vibrant cultural expression, Luju invites guests from across the continent and beyond to come ready to #EatSwayLove.

Guided by its founding philosophy, “A Return to the African Future,” Luju is a bold declaration of Africa’s evolving story. The festival calls on a new generation to reclaim precolonial heritage, reimagine African identity and reconnect with the traditions that sustained our forefathers, while embracing a future shaped by African innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship.

At its heart, Luju is a celebration of Africa’s resilience, authenticity and pioneering spirit, lavishly expressed through its food, music and fashion experiences. Through the festival platform, Luju also continues to stimulate the creative economy, promote cultural tourism, advance sustainability and support small business growth through a range of creative initiatives and skills development programmes.

Tickets can be purchased using cash or debit cards at all outlets. Please note that the festival does not issue physical tickets. Instead, tickets will be delivered digitally via email or mobile phone and scanned at the festival gate using a unique QR code. Festivalgoers are encouraged to keep their QR codes secure and avoid sharing them, as this is what validates entry. Luju tickets are also available for purchase via Standard Bank UNAYO, offering festivalgoers an even more convenient way to secure their place at this year’s celebration.

Please note that all Luju tickets provide access to the full two-day festival experience. Festivalgoers are also encouraged to pre-load Top-Up funds onto their wristbands at the time of purchase for a smoother, cashless festival experience.
