MBABANE – Eswatini’s beloved comedy duo, Gogo & S’lwane, are gearing up to host their first show of 2026, titled ‘Love & Laughter.’
The highly anticipated event is scheduled for February 14, 2026 at Mantenga Cultural Village, promising an evening filled with humor and heartfelt moments.
The comedy offering features a stellar lineup, including performances by comedians Bongiswa & Darren, Christian Dude, and the unique Shaun the Talking Monkey. Adding a touch of professional flair to the evening, Mnqobi Tsabedze will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
In an exclusive interview, Gogo shared that the vision behind ‘Love & Laughter’ is rooted in the powerful role humor plays in relationships. He explained that the show is more than just entertainment; it is a deliberate effort to foster healthier and happier connections among couples. “We believe humor is an adhesive to the concept of love, of relationships,” Gogo said. “This show is our own little effort to help practicing or aspiring couples towards better love, healthier matrimony, and all other possibilities in better or closer to that.”
The inspiration for this specific date is tied to the duo’s outlook on starting the year on a positive note. Gogo noted that beginning the year with laughter sets a vital tone for the months ahead, remarking, “We believe everything that begins with laughter ought to continue and conclude on a similar tone.”
