SIDVOKODVO — A full roster of Gospel artists took centre stage at the Throne Room: The Divine Encounter concert, delivering an uninterrupted night of praise and worship at the TLC Events Centre on Saturday, April 18.
The highly anticipated gathering met expectations as every performer listed on the official programme honoured their slot, creating a seamless and spirit-filled experience for attendees who had travelled from across the region. The 2026 edition, themed The Divine Encounter, continued to position the Throne Room series as a key annual fixture on Eswatini’s Gospel calendar since its launch in March 2025.
Headlining the night were both celebrated and contemporary Gospel voices, including Nelly Siwela, Sphiwo Ndoni, Machawe Simelane, Dumi Mkokstad, Reginald Crazy Praise, Dumisa Msweli, Nothando Dlamini and Nozipho Beulah. Their performances collectively shaped an atmosphere centred on musical ministry and spiritual connection.
Nelly Siwela stood out with her rendition of “Bala Izibusio Zakho,” drawing crowds to the stage as worshippers danced in unison and sang along. Meanwhile, Reginald Crazy Praise injected high energy into the venue, climbing onto chairs and encouraging the audience to “dance for the Lord” while directing his keyboardist, affectionately known as Njabuloh, to shift musical keys mid-performance.
Organised as a platform for collective worship, the Throne Room aims to create a dedicated space for believers to gather in praise. The concept builds on the momentum of its 2025 edition, themed Kingdom Experience, which featured both local and international acts such as Xolly Mncwango, Sneziey, Shekinah Motsa, Bongekile Nxumalo, Sphiwo Ndoni and Mzayoni.
Attendees praised the consistency and quality of performances.
“The Throne Room 2026 delivered the best of performances, local talent was on the spotlight. All artists brought the energy and we enjoyed in the presence of the Lord,” said Fakazi Samuel.
Sithembiso Simelane echoed similar sentiments, adding: “I am so happy about how the 2026 Throne Room turned out. We enjoyed and every artist delivered. A huge shout out to TLC Events Centre for supporting Gospel music artists. We definitely cannot wait for the Throne Room 2027.”
With its growing reputation, the Throne Room continues to draw crowds seeking both musical excellence and spiritual renewal, reinforcing its place as a significant Gospel event in the country
