MANZINI– The second edition of the Hakuna Matata Spin event, held on Saturday at the Mavuso Trade Fair Grounds, delivered a high-octane spectacle that drew massive crowds, showcased international talent, and reinforced its growing reputation as one of Eswatini’s premier motoring entertainment events.
The event featured over 25 international spinning stars alongside local talent, creating an electrifying atmosphere that kept fans on their feet throughout. According to organiser Nqaba Ginindza, the turnout and overall execution met expectations, with attendees enjoying a safe and thrilling experience.
“Alright this year Hakuna Matata event was obviously massive because of its the different hot lineup of over 25 international big spinners,” said Ginindza. “The preparations and commitment the team was putting towards the event was more lethal in terms of marketing promotions as well. History was once again made on Hakuna Matata second edition.”
Ginindza highlighted that all invited international spinners delivered strong performances, while local spinners proved equally competitive. “All international spinners came and played, and our very own local spinners put up a heavy fight as well, with our local DJs also serving us great music and fun,” he added.
The event, which took place over the weekend, attracted a diverse audience from across the country, with fans filling the venue in large numbers. The combination of roaring engines, skilled driving, and vibrant music created a festival-like atmosphere that resonated with attendees.
In addition to praising performers, Ginindza extended gratitude to stakeholders who contributed to the event’s success. “We would also like to thank media houses that chipped in with pushing, and of course our sponsors who always make sure we have smooth working and execution,” he said.
Hakuna Matata Spin continues to grow in scale and influence, with organisers aiming to elevate future editions even further through stronger partnerships, enhanced entertainment, and broader participation.
