MVUTJINI – Emerging talent Ithambo, popularly known as Bon Legendary, has officially released his latest single, ‘AMENI’, featuring Eswatini’s very own “Trap Queen”, Stella Jacobs.
The track, which debuted on YouTube on 6 March 2026, is already garnering attention for its raw emotional depth and message of unwavering faith.
‘AMENI’ is more than just a song; it is a spiritual declaration of hope amidst adversity. The lyrics delve into the everyday struggles faced by many, ranging from financial hardship to the pain of hunger. Despite these “tough situations,” the core message remains clear: to keep saying “Amen” and believing that better days are ahead.
“We still say ‘Amen’ even through the tough situations we are going through, especially hunger,” Ithambo shared. “We still believe that someday everything is going to be okay.” This sentiment is echoed by Stella Jacobs, who brought her own experiences of overcoming hardship to the collaboration, creating a powerful synergy of hope and perseverance.
Ithambo’s music career is deeply rooted in personal tragedy and triumph. His journey began in 2022 following the heartbreaking loss of his mother. Turning to music as a form of therapy, he wrote his first song as a tribute to her. His raw honesty caught the ear of producer Ali Sign, who offered to record his next track for free, marking the official start of his career.
Growing up struggling and losing his mother at a young age, Ithambo had to hustle and care for himself to ensure he could attend school. “Sometimes it felt like losing hope, but God kept him going,” his team noted. This life story is the foundation of ‘AMENI’, a track that transforms personal pain into a universal message of faith.
The new single was produced by Hlanti-Mayne, who has become a key architect of Ithambo’s evolving sound. Before this latest release, Ithambo built his studio experience through connections with industry veterans like DJ Citie and collaborations with local artists including Young Zesh, Histo, Jimieboi SD, Lijah, and Daniel Lansar.
