MALKERNS — Manzini-born singer Judah Soul, real name Phumelela Silitshena, is set to deliver a heartfelt and energetic performance at the fifth edition of the Makoti Festival on 02 May 2026 at Malkerns Country Club, where over 40 acts will take the stage.

Judah, known for his soulful sound and popular songs such as Buya and Sitasandzane, says fans can expect a performance centred on love, emotion and connection. The vocalist, songwriter and producer promised an unforgettable experience.

“My fans can expect nothing but the journey of falling in love,a journey of pure bliss and so much energy,” he said. “We are going to dance the night away. It will be filled with love and storytelling.”

The artist, who was nominated at the MTN SWAMA Awards in 2020, is no stranger to the Makoti Festival. He praised the organisers for creating a platform that celebrates women and culture.

“This festival appreciates women and our culture. It brings people together in a beautiful way,” Judah said. “As emaSwati, we are very cultural people. They must continue and grow this festival into something even bigger.”

The Makoti Festival, powered by Orchard Insurance, continues to position itself as a leading cultural event in Eswatini, promoting local and regional talent. This year’s edition will also feature major performances from artists such as gospel star Nothando Hlophe, Mozambique’s Liloca, and South African entertainer Phindy “The Real Queen”.

A strong DJ lineup, including DJ Zinhle, Mdu AKA TRP, DJ Dilson and several local favourites, is also expected to keep the crowd entertained throughout the day and night.

Tickets for Phase 3 are available on Computicket, Howler and Moja Ticket, with general access priced at E300 and VIP at E750.
