MBABANE– Comedy lovers are in for a night of endless laughter and unforgettable entertainment as Last Friday Gags with Cedric & Friends prepares to celebrate its first anniversary with a star-studded comedy showcase later this month.
The highly anticipated event is set to take place at Molly’s House of Grills, located at Checkers Mbabane, on June 26 at 7:00 PM. The celebration will bring together some of Eswatini’s most loved comedians, including Cedric, Dr Shakes, Bexta, Mdura, Darren and Fohlas, promising an evening packed with humour, storytelling and crowd-pleasing performances.
The anniversary event marks a significant milestone for the comedy platform, which has steadily grown into one of the country’s favourite entertainment gatherings. Over the past year, the show has provided a stage for local comedians to showcase their talent while creating a vibrant space where audiences can unwind through laughter.
Building excitement ahead of the event, comedian Dr Shakes took to his Facebook page to invite fans to join the celebration.
“Looking forward to sharing some laughs and a memorable night with everyone. Hope to see you there,” wrote Dr Shakes.
His message has further fuelled anticipation among comedy enthusiasts who are eager to witness some of the country’s finest comedians sharing one stage.
Organisers say the event is not only a celebration of a successful first year but also a recognition of the growing popularity of stand-up comedy in Eswatini. The show is expected to attract comedy fans from across the country, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement, energy and nonstop laughter.
Tickets are available online through Moja Ticket at E80, while tickets purchased at the door will cost E100. Fans are encouraged to secure their seats early to avoid missing what promises to be one of the biggest comedy nights of the year.
