MBABANE— As the Kingdom of Eswatini prepares for the height of the festive season, iF’s Lounge Restaurant & Bar has announced a premier holiday experience that promises to blend high-end culinary arts with world-class local music.
On 25 December 2025, the venue will host a grand Christmas Buffet featuring a live performance by the sensational Afro-soul artist, Leebombo.
Leebombo is an emerging Eswatini Afro-soul artist and singer who has become widely recognized as one of the nation’s most compelling voices. Known for her soulful voice and heartfelt storytelling, she primarily focuses on the Afro-soul genre, masterfully blending elements of R&B, gospel, and pop to create a sound that is uniquely her own. Her career trajectory is a powerful testament to perseverance and embracing one’s own potential; after spending many years contributing her talents as a background vocalist, she stepped into the spotlight as a solo artist signed under New Life Records.
Fans attending the Christmas Day festivities can look forward to hearing her notable solo releases, which explore themes of raw emotion, spirituality, and timeless love. Her repertoire includes the deeply spiritual tracks “Ngigcwele” (which translates to “I am full” or “I am satisfied”) and the hit single “Yebo” (“Yes”). Leebombo is no stranger to the big stage, having performed at significant local events such as The Divas Concert and the Makoti Festival. Her frequent features on Eswatini TV have further cemented her status as an artist whose journey inspires others to find their own self-expression.
The event is designed as a sophisticated family gathering and will be hosted simultaneously at both iF’s Lounge locations. The Mbabane venue is situated at the MVA Building, while the Manzini branch is located in Moneni at the Carson Building. To ensure an inclusive celebration for all ages, the buffet is priced at E650 for adults and E300 for children.
