MBABANE— Lindokuhle Mukelo is a young content creator using his platform to build confidence and inspire young people in Mbabane, Eswatini.
Mukelo was raised by his grandmother, who played a key role in shaping his character “I was raised by my grandmother who taught me respect” he said. He added that she always encouraged him to take every opportunity he comes across with both hands. This mindset has helped him grow both as a person and as a creator.
His journey into content creation started with a simple goal to improve his confidence in front of the camera. He began recording videos and slowly became more comfortable expressing himself. Along the way, he found inspiration from a South African content creator living with albinism. This motivated him to stay consistent and believe in his voice and story.
Now a student at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Mukelo says his academic journey has supported his growth. He has built a strong network of friends who support his content and encourage him to keep pushing forward. He also shared that his content has started generating income, helping him become financially stable while studying in Mbabane.
Like many young creatives, Mukelo has faced challenges, but he remains focused and resilient. His background has given him strength to keep going even during difficult times. He continues to gain support, especially on Facebook, where his audience is growing steadily.
Looking ahead, Mukelo plans to use his platform to represent his roots and inspire others from similar backgrounds across Eswatini. He wants to show that it is possible to turn small beginnings into something meaningful through hard work and consistency.
