EZULWINI The local gospel landscape witnessed a historic display of unity on the afternoon of February 17, 2026, as the Mother of All Gospel Shows (MOAGS) officially launched its landmark 10th-anniversary journey at the Sibanesami Hotel.

What was initially scheduled as a media briefing evolved into a spirited praise celebration, signaling the commencement of a roadmap leading to the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on May 9, 2026. The launch served as a powerful rallying point for the creative sector in the Kingdom, with contemporary artists, veteran gospel icons, and industry influencers attending in their numbers to pledge support. The proceedings were guided by the charismatic Mnqobi Tsabedze, who served as the Master of Ceremonies (MC).

Visionary founder Nduduzo Matse reflected on the decade-long journey and the institutional trust earned. “We have built a track record of reliability. People no longer ask who is on the lineup because they know if it is MOAGS, they are receiving the best in ministry,” Matse stated. He further promised an “explosive” 12:00 PM to 6:00 AM marathon show, ensuring fans receive maximum value for their support.

Matse also took the opportunity to advise all stakeholders who support artists to embrace the fact that the creative sector is transforming to greater heights, noting that more artists than ever before are set to benefit from this expansive platform. Following his remarks, the highly anticipated lineup was officially unveiled, featuring a stellar combination of local giants and international gospel heavyweights.

Ahead of the main event, a series of roadshows for activations and worship workshops to educate artists will be held to sharpen local talent. The event received a significant endorsement from the Eswatini National Council of Arts and Culture (ENCAC), with CEO Stanley Dlamini lauding the organizers for their resilience. “Consistency is the backbone of any sustainable industry. MOAGS has become a benchmark of excellence,” Dlamini remarked.

Institutional support was further evidenced by the presence of Nozipho Gamedze, representing the Mayor of the Municipal Council of Manzini. She extended a warm welcome to the event as it returns to the hub city, which will also feature a fun fair for kids. Additionally, Mmeli Hlanze, representing ESWACCO, emphasized the vital importance of protecting the intellectual property of the artists who grace such prestigious stages.

Director of Arts and Culture Phinda Nkosi delivered a speech on behalf of Minister of Sport, Culture and Youth Affairs, Bongani Nzima, commending the show’s role in youth empowerment and noting the Ministry’s pride in associating with a brand showing ten years of unwavering consistency. The 10th-anniversary edition is bolstered by the Destiny Group, who are currently the main sponsors of the show. Their partnership aims to elevate the technical and spiritual experience to international standards.

The afternoon was punctuated by soul-stirring live performances. Gospel powerhouses Mzayoni Tsabedze and Sphiwo Ndoni moved the audience with worship sets, while the comedic duo of Gogo Eswatini and Christian Dude provided moments of joy. The stage also featured appearances by Phinda Mnisi, Machawe Simelane, and many more. With the launch concluded, tickets are officially on sale.
