BUHLEN –Veteran Eswatini musician Mshikishi Mndzebele brought energy and entertainment to the Eswatini International Trade Fair Activation at Buhleni Plaza, delivering a lively performance that attracted the attention of attendees.
Mndzebele, popularly known as Mshikishi, performed one of his songs during the ongoing activation, entertaining members of the community alongside Gogo and Slwane.
Beyond his performance, Mndzebele used the platform to advocate for greater support of local artists. He encouraged event organisers, businesses and members of the public to support home-grown talent by giving local musicians opportunities to perform and promoting their music.
He emphasised that supporting local artists contributes to the growth of Eswatini’s creative industry and provides musicians with opportunities to showcase their talent to wider audiences.
The Buhleni activation forms part of the build-up activities for the Eswatini International Trade Fair, bringing entertainment, businesses, exhibitors and members of the community together while creating awareness about the upcoming trade fair.
The vibrant atmosphere, coupled with performances from local entertainers such as Mndzebele, Gogo and Slwane, demonstrated the important role of entertainment in connecting communities with national events and promoting local talent.
