MBABANE Eswatini has once again proven itself as the entertainment heartbeat of Southern Africa, hosting more than 14 South African artists and celebrities over the weekend of 11 October 2025.

The Kingdom came alive with music, fashion, and glamour as the stars attended two major events — the Eswatini Farmers Market and Swazi Polo.

Among the celebrated personalities were Jaziel Brothers, Enhle Mbali, Thapelo Mokoena, Sun-El Musician, Mörda Bongz, Mpho.wav, Nandile, and DJ Kenza SA, alongside rising performers such as Busisiwe, Little Anele, and Dudu_RSA. Their presence highlighted Eswatini’s growing appeal as a cultural and entertainment destination for regional and international artists alike.

Actor, producer, and presenter Thapelo Mokoena stood out for his effortless style and warm charm. Dressed in a chocolate-hued dotted shirt and relaxed trousers, Mokoena blended seamlessly with the weekend’s tropical elegance. Known for his roles in international productions such as Trackers and Bulletproof (Season 3), Mokoena has become a familiar face in Eswatini, having visited the Kingdom several times before.

“Every visit feels like a homecoming,” he said. “I’m in Eswatini for the seventh time, and this country has a rare charm — a peaceful rhythm that keeps calling me back. Swazi Polo isn’t just an event; it’s a celebration of art, style, and African unity.”

Joining him was actress, fashion icon, and philanthropist Enhle Mbali, who turned heads with her sophisticated white ensemble that radiated elegance and confidence. The Isibaya and Rockville star, who has built a reputation for her bold fashion sense and women empowerment initiatives, said she felt at home in Eswatini.

“I love how Eswatini embraces creativity and culture,” she said. “Every time I’m here, it feels like I’m reconnecting with family.”

Adding musical flair to the weekend were the Jaziel Brothers, known for their soulful hits like Ndiza and Woza, alongside Sun-El Musician, whose globally acclaimed single Akanamali helped define a new wave of Afro-electronic sound. Former Black Motion member Mörda Bongz delivered an electrifying DJ set, while Mpho.wav and DJ Kenza SA kept the crowds on their feet with a seamless blend of house and Afro-soul beats.

Singer Mawhoo, another fan favourite, gave a memorable performance at the Eswatini Farmers Market, thrilling fans with her blend of traditional sounds and contemporary Afropop. “The event was top notch,” she said after her set. “It was my first time performing at the Farmers Market, and I truly enjoyed the energy and love from the people.”

The vibrant weekend not only brought together music and fashion but also reaffirmed Eswatini’s growing influence on the regional entertainment map. As the lights dimmed and the stars departed, one thing was certain — Eswatini has become the home where culture meets class, and art meets authenticity.
