Over the past four decades, the Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) has evolved into a financially sound and strategically positioned pension fund, committed to safeguarding the retirement benefits of public servants in Eswatini.

Key Achievements:

  • Strong Asset Growth and Financial Stability: The Fund has achieved consistent growth in its asset base through prudent investment strategies, ensuring long-term sustainability and security of members’ benefits.
  • Timely Payment of Benefits: PSPF has maintained a strong track record in the timely and efficient payment of pension benefits, reinforcing trust and reliability among its members.
  • Investment in National Development: The Fund has played a meaningful role in Eswatini’s economic development through strategic investments in key sectors such as property, infrastructure, and financial markets. In addition, PSPF has contributed to job creation through key investments such as Hilton Garden Inn, the Oncology Centre, Paper Tech, Tambankulu Estates and Tambuti Estate among others. The Fund has also supported youth empowerment initiatives, including the Graduate in Training (GIT) Programme, which provides young graduates with valuable workplace experience and skills development.
  • Enhanced Benefit and Product Offerings: PSPF has strengthened its value proposition through the introduction of key member benefits. Notably, the Funeral Benefit Scheme, introduced in September 2013, initially provided a payout of E7,000 and has since been revised to E10,000 in recent years, offering improved support to members and their families. In addition, the Rural Loan Scheme has assisted many members in building homes, contributing to improved living conditions and family well-being.
  • Improved Member Services: Introduction of digital platforms, including the Ingcamu Mobile App, has enhanced accessibility to member information and improved service delivery.
  • Corporate Governance and Compliance: PSPF continues to uphold high standards of governance, transparency, and regulatory compliance in line with best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Education: The Fund has strengthened its member education programmes to improve financial literacy and awareness of pension benefits.

These achievements reflect PSPF’s ongoing commitment to excellence, made possible within the stable governance framework and national vision guided by His Majesty over the past 40 years.
