EZULWINI — In a continued demonstration of strong corporate citizenship, Phoenix of Eswatini Assurance Limited has donated E40 000 to four local organisations as part of its 10th anniversary celebrations.

The cheques were handed over during a black-tie gala dinner held at Happy Valley Hotel on June 12 2026, marking a significant moment in the company’s decade-long journey of service, growth, and community engagement.

Each of the four beneficiary organisations received E10 000, reflecting the company’s commitment to ensuring that its success continues to contribute positively to communities across Eswatini.

The beneficiaries include The Lions Club, Cheshire Homes, Mhlabubovu National Care Point, and Bulembu Ministries — organisations widely recognised for their impactful work in humanitarian support, disability care, child welfare, and community development.

Speaking during the ceremony, Hon. Senator Sylvia Mthethwa, Director of Phoenix of Eswatini Assurance Limited, said the initiative reflects the organisation’s values of compassion, service, and shared prosperity.

She noted that the company remains committed to ensuring that its growth continues to translate into meaningful support for communities across the Kingdom.

“We are proud to celebrate this milestone by giving back to organisations that continue to make a real difference in the lives of many people across the country. This is part of our commitment to ensuring that our growth also translates into meaningful social impact,” said Hon. Senator Mthethwa.

The Lions Club was commended for its strong spirit of volunteerism and humanitarian service, while Cheshire Homes was recognised for its dedication to rehabilitation and empowerment of persons with special needs.

Mhlabubovu National Care Point was praised for its vital role in providing care, nutrition, and protection for vulnerable children, offering a safe and supportive environment for the community.

Bulembu Ministries was acknowledged for its holistic and sustainable approach to long-term care and its continued efforts in building systems of hope for orphaned and orphaned-vulnerable children.

This kind of gesture forms part of the organisation’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility, community upliftment, and sustainable development, aimed at creating meaningful and lasting impact across Eswatini.

The ceremony concluded with expressions of gratitude from beneficiary organisations, who welcomed the support as timely and impactful in strengthening their ongoing programmes.

As Phoenix of Eswatini marks a decade of service in the Kingdom, the company reaffirmed its commitment to continued community engagement, partnership-building, and responsible corporate citizenship.
