MBABANE – The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) is appealing to the public to join hands in the search for justice following the tragic loss of an 8-year-old girl in the Shiselweni region.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, 24 September 2025, at approximately 14:30 hours, while the child was travelling home from school with other learners in a public transport vehicle passing through the Jabulani area. A stray bullet struck the girl, leading to her hospitalisation. Despite the best efforts of medical teams, she sadly passed away on 26 September 2025.
In response, REPS has launched a thorough investigation and is calling on all members of the public to share any information that could help identify those responsible. This collective effort underscores the power of community vigilance in keeping children and families safe.
