MANZINI– Get ready for a celebration like no other! South African music sensation Sjava and legendary Umafikizolo will headline the SNAT Teachers’ Day Bash 2025, bringing their soulful sounds and unforgettable performances to the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre on Friday, 24 October 2025.
The exciting update was announced on Monday evening through the official SNAT Platform Facebook page, confirming Sjava and Umafikizolo as the main headliners. More artists, including both local and regional acts, will be unveiled in the coming days.
The entertainment line-up and event logistics will be managed by New Life Entertainment, following a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between SNAT (Swaziland National Association of Teachers) and New Life Entertainment last year. The agreement, signed on 13 April 2024 in Mbabane, aims to promote collaboration in cultural and entertainment events that celebrate the teaching profession.
Teachers and the public are in for a night of pure entertainment as Sjava, born Jabulani Hadebe in Bergville, KwaZulu-Natal, takes centre stage alongside Umafikhizolo, the iconic Afro-pop duo known for timeless hits and energetic performances. The award-winning artists will lead the festivities in honour of Eswatini’s educators.
Speaking on behalf of New Life Entertainment, Thembinkosi Mthethwa confirmed that the after-party will also be open to the public, giving everyone a chance to join teachers in celebrating their special day.
Tickets for the Teachers’ Day Bash 2025 are now available, E50 for SNAT members (only via the SNAT Platform) and E200 for non-members. They can be purchased at MojaTicket and Pick n Pay Eswatini Mall outlets nationwide.
Founded in 1928, SNAT is Eswatini’s longest-standing teachers’ union, with a proud history of advocacy and community engagement. Through its partnership with New Life Entertainment, the organization also extends special ticket discounts to educators for events such as the Makoti Festival, a family-oriented celebration of Eswatini culture and womanhood, hosted annually at Malkerns Country Club.
This year’s Makoti Festival, held on 26 April 2025, once again drew crowds for its mix of fashion, food, music, and culture, reinforcing the collaboration between SNAT and New Life Entertainment as a vibrant success.
