EZULWINI – Standard Bank Eswatini has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering customers and driving the country’s economic growth with the launch of its Phokophela. Sinawe. rewards campaign, an initiative that will see 81 customers share prizes worth E600 000, including a brand-new Omoda vehicle.

The campaign was officially unveiled on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Movies Zone, Ezulwini as part of the bank’s broader commitment to supporting customers through every stage of their financial journey while encouraging greater adoption of digital banking solutions.

Running from June 29 to November 30, 2026, the campaign rewards customers for carrying out everyday banking transactions. Customers automatically earn entries by purchasing airtime or electricity through Standard Bank’s digital channels under Tsenga, sending money or vouchers through Tfumela, and using their Standard Bank cards to make purchases through Swipe-A.

Customers can further increase their chances of winning by earning bonus points for opening a savings account, switching to bundled pricing, taking up a digital loan, paying municipal rates or signing up for Flexi Funeral Cover.

The initiative will reward 50 customers with E1000 fuel or shopping vouchers, 30 customers with E5000 cash prizes, while one lucky customer will drive away in a brand-new Omoda vehicle, bringing the total number of winners to 81. Every qualifying transaction automatically earns entries into the campaign, with no registration required.

Delivering the Chief Executive’s opening remarks, Head of Personal and Private Banking, Mr Ewen Hiwa, said Phokophela. Sinawe., which translates to “Keep pushing. We are with you,” represents a deliberate shift in how Standard Bank serves its customers.

He said the bank is evolving from being a financial institution that simply offers products to becoming a trusted partner that walks alongside customers as they pursue their personal, business and investment aspirations.

“Whether it is an individual saving for a home, an entrepreneur building a business or a company investing in Eswatini’s future, we want our customers to know they do not walk that journey alone,” he said.

Hiwa said the campaign was built with the people of Eswatini, not just for them, highlighting the contribution of Standard Bank graduate interns and students from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, whose creativity and dedication helped conceptualise and execute the campaign.

He thanked members of the media for their continued partnership in telling Eswatini’s growth story, adding that Phokophela. Sinawe. is not a short-term promotion but a long-term commitment that will be measured by how consistently it is lived both inside and outside the bank.

Presenting the campaign mechanics, Head of Products, Nqoba Manana, said the initiative transforms ordinary banking transactions into rewarding experiences while encouraging customers to embrace secure and convenient digital banking services.

He explained that customers earn entries by purchasing airtime, electricity and other value-added services under Tsenga, sending money, transferring funds or using bank-to-wallet services under Tfumela, and making purchases with their Standard Bank cards through Swipe-A.

Manana said the campaign reflects Standard Bank’s promise to stand with customers in their everyday lives, whether they are buying essentials, paying bills, supporting loved ones or managing their finances through digital banking channels.

Launched under the theme “Eswatini Is Our Home. We Drive Its Growth,” the campaign reinforces Standard Bank Eswatini’s continued investment in customer empowerment, financial inclusion and national economic development.

Through Phokophela. Sinawe., the bank is turning everyday banking into rewarding opportunities while reaffirming its promise to walk alongside emaSwati as they continue pushing towards a brighter financial future.
