MANZINI– Swazitronix celebrated its 35th anniversary by recognising the employees whose long service has contributed to the company’s growth, while also paying tribute to retired staff members during a commemorative event attended by current and former employees.

The celebration saw the electronics retailer honour three retired employees who collectively dedicated decades of service to the company. They included Elliot Nsimbini, who retired after serving for more than 30 years, Petros Mkhatshwa, who completed 25 years before retirement, and Jerome Matsenjwa, who served the company for more than 20 years.

The company also presented long-service certificates to four current employees in recognition of their commitment. Those recognised were Mfanasibili James Dlamini for 25 years of service, Faith Makhubu for 15 years, and Skhumbuzo Mabuza and Sabelo Manana, who have each served the company for more than 10 years.

The awards formed part of the company’s 35th anniversary celebrations, which brought together present and former employees to reflect on Swazitronix’s journey and the contribution made by its workforce over the years.

The event highlighted the role of employee loyalty and experience in sustaining the business through three and a half decades of operation. By recognising both retired and serving employees, the company acknowledged the people who have played a part in its development and continued presence in Eswatini’s retail sector.

The anniversary celebration also served as an opportunity for former colleagues to reunite and commemorate the milestone, as Swazitronix reflected on its achievements since its establishment while looking ahead to the future.
