MBABANE – Bishop Robert Kasaro has turned to scripture for strength following the passing of his wife, Her Royal Highness Pastor Princess Lindiwe Dlamini, sharing a message of faith and comfort with the nation during a period of mourning.
Quoting Psalm 34:18, Bishop Kasaro shared the words: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
The verse accompanied a statement announcing the passing of Princess Lindiwe and has become a central message of hope as the Bishop, the Royal Family, church members and the wider nation come to terms with her death.
Through the Jesus Calls Worship Centre International family, Princess Lindiwe was remembered as a faithful and devoted servant of God whose life was defined by wisdom, love and commitment to both Christian ministry and the nation.
“She was a faithful and devoted servant of God, a pillar of our church family, and a person whose life, wisdom, love and commitment to the work of the Lord and the nation touched the lives of us all,” the statement reads.
The church said that while the loss had brought deep sadness, the family was drawing comfort from the promises contained in scripture.
Condolences were extended to Their Majesties, the Royal Family, Bishop Kasaro and the Kasaro family, the Government of the Kingdom of Eswatini, relatives, friends and everyone whose life was touched by Princess Lindiwe.
The church further called on members and well-wishers to continue surrounding Bishop Kasaro and his family with prayers, love and support during the difficult period.
Funeral and memorial arrangements are expected to be announced in due course.
For Bishop Kasaro and the church family, the words of Psalm 34:18 now carry particular significance – a reminder that even in moments of profound loss, faith can provide comfort, strength and hope.
