MALKERNS– Nearly three years after thrilling emaSwati during his last performances in the Kingdom, South African music legend Zola 7 is making his highly anticipated return to Eswatini—this time with brand-new music that fans will hear live for the very first time.
The award-winning musician last performed in Eswatini, then officially known as Swaziland, on 28 October 2023, when he headlined the All-Star Party at Ekhayeni Chillaz in Matsapha before making another appearance at Zhumiao Lifestyle and Lounge in Pigg’s Peak. His energetic performances left fans wanting more, and now he is set to reunite with emaSwati at the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival on Saturday, 1 August, where he will take to the stage at exactly 10:00pm.
Speaking ahead of his return, Zola 7 said he is looking forward to performing for the Kingdom once again, describing the love he receives from emaSwati as unforgettable.
“I am excited to be coming back to Eswatini. The love and support I always receive from emaSwati is amazing, and I can’t wait to perform for everyone again,” he said.
His return comes with an exciting surprise. Festival-goers will become the first audience to experience his latest single, She Nailed It, performed live. The song, which serves as the lead release from his upcoming album, will officially be released on Friday, 31 July 2026, just one day before his Luju performance.
Zola 7 has encouraged fans to stream the new song immediately after its release so they can sing along when he performs it live.
“I want everyone to stream the song on Friday so that when I perform on Saturday, we can all sing it together,” he said.
His performance is expected to be one of the biggest highlights of the eighth edition of the Standard Bank Luju Food & Lifestyle Festival, which brings together leading African musicians, acclaimed chefs, fashion designers and creatives for a weekend celebrating food, music, fashion and culture.
Alongside his new release, fans can also expect a nostalgic performance featuring some of the timeless hits that have made Zola 7 one of South Africa’s most celebrated music icons.
For many emaSwati, his return is more than just another festival performance—it marks the comeback of a beloved entertainer whose bond with the Kingdom continues to grow with every visit.
