MATSAPHA– Eight families will get to experience the magic of the MTN Bushfire Festival at no cost, thanks to a ticket giveaway by Galp Eswatini valued at over E30,000.

The 19th edition of the festival is scheduled to take place from May 29 to 31, 2026, at the iconic House on Fire in Malkerns, bringing together music lovers, creatives, and families from across the region.

As part of its partnership with the festival, Galp Eswatini launched an eight-week promotional campaign in the lead-up to the event, aimed at rewarding customers while promoting family experiences rooted in culture and community. Through the campaign, eight lucky families will each receive a full weekend package consisting of two adult tickets and two children’s tickets.

So far, five families have already walked away with the coveted prizes. These include the Nkambule family (week one), Zwane family (week two), Ndwandwe family (week three), the Mkhwanazi family (week four) and the Matsebula family (week five). The tickets were officially handed over at the Galp Depot in Matsapha by B2B Sales and Marketing Manager Mongiwe Mkhabela and Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment Manager Bavetiwe Nyawo.

With three more families set to be announced in the coming weeks, excitement continues to build among customers.

Mkhabela explained that entering the competition is simple: customers only need to fuel up with E350 or more, or purchase Galp lubricants to the value of E350 or more at any Galp service station to qualify.

“The campaign is designed not only to reward customer loyalty, but also to bring families together through shared experiences that celebrate music, culture and community,” she said.

For the Zwane family, the win came as a pleasant surprise. Speaking on behalf of his family, Zwane said they were thrilled to be part of the Bushfire experience.

“I always use Galp Filling Stations. I usually top up at Siphofaneni, Manzini Riverstone, Hhelehhele and Manzini next to Motorlec. I entered the draw after filling up at Riverstone, and a few weeks later I got the call that I had won,” he said.

Nkambule, another winner, said, “It is really nice to win a prize knowing that you have done so transparently,” he said, adding that his family was already counting down to the festival.

He encouraged other customers to participate, as more winners are yet to be announced.

The initiative forms part of Galp Eswatini’s broader efforts to engage with customers while contributing to meaningful community experiences, reinforcing its commitment to bringing people together through impactful partnerships.
