MBABANE – While the modern social scene often rushes toward the next loud hit, Farm 443 has carved out a sanctuary for those who believe the best music has already been made.
Since opening its doors on December 23, 2025, the venue’s “Sunday at the Farm” sessions have become a cherished ritual for lovers of old-school music and timeless mountain vibes.
Nestled in the scenic Malagwane mountains, the venue operates under the signature phrase “Kusekhaya La” (It is home here), a philosophy that reaches its peak during the Sunday sessions. It is a day dedicated to long, lazy lunches and flowing drinks, providing a nostalgic buffer before the start of a new work week.
The evolution of the venue from a festive season startup to a premiere lifestyle destination has been a deliberate journey. Speaking on the strategic growth and the venue’s communication pillars, Nontobeko Tshabalala, Communications Director at South To East Communications, noted that the establishment is deeply committed to its patrons.
“Farm 443 has steadily built a reputation as a vibrant lifestyle destination. What began as a first-look experience has evolved into a dynamic space shaped by its guests, with continuous improvements aimed at delivering an even more refined and memorable experience,” Tshabalala stated.
The Soundtrack of Nostalgia
“Sunday at the Farm” is a carefully curated experience that trades frantic energy for warm, soulful grooves. The atmosphere encourages conversation and relaxation, making it the premier destination for the “grown and sexy” crowd and anyone with an appreciation for musical heritage.
This Sunday, March 1, the decks will be manned by a trio of selectors renowned for their deep crates and ability to read the mellow mood of the mountains:
- DJ Sixo
- MK Hlophe
- Sandton JT Maber
The mountain setting acts as a natural amphitheater for the soul and jazz-infused playlists, offering a level of tranquility that is hard to find in the city bustle. Whether guests are there for a corporate wind-down or a private family celebration, the abundance of food and the steady flow of music ensure that “Kusekhaya La” remains a promise kept.
Farm 443 opens daily at 12:00 PM, and in a move that welcomes the entire community, entry is free. Guests can enjoy the scenic views and nostalgic tunes without the pressure of a cover charge, though group bookings and corporate gatherings are encouraged to reserve space in advance.
