MBABANE– Eswatini is set to host an extraordinary leadership experience this month as the Leadership Growth Forum (LGF) brings together some of Africa’s most influential business minds for a two-part engagement aimed at inspiring ethical, purposeful and impactful leadership.

The engagements, scheduled for 15 May 2026 at Mountain View Hotel in Mbabane, will feature the acclaimed CEO Nights with Nyimpini Live Podcast alongside an exclusive public book review session with celebrated business leader and author Professor Bonang Mohale.

The event will combine private executive reflection with public knowledge sharing, creating what organisers describe as a rare platform for authentic leadership conversations in Eswatini.

The first session, CEO Nights with Nyimpini, will be a private, invitation-only live podcast hosted by renowned business leader and author Nyimpini Mabunda. The intimate engagement is expected to bring together selected leaders for candid discussions centred on leadership journeys, personal development, executive decision-making and the realities of leading in today’s world.

Inspired by Mabunda’s bestselling book Take Charge, CEO Nights has become widely recognised for its relaxed coffee-house style format, allowing senior executives to share personal stories and professional lessons in an honest and engaging environment.

The second engagement, which will be open to the public, will begin at 18:00 and focus on unpacking leadership lessons from Professor Mohale’s three bestselling books,Lift As You Rise, Behold the Turtle and Coming in From the Cold.

According to organisers, the curated book review session aims to provide attendees with practical leadership insights grounded in real-life experiences, while also exploring the importance of values-driven leadership in modern society.

Professor Mohale is regarded as one of Africa’s most respected business leaders and leadership thinkers. He currently serves as Chancellor of the University of the Free State, Professor of Practice at the Johannesburg Business School, and Chairman of both The Bidvest Group Limited and SBV Services.

He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Business Leadership South Africa and has held senior leadership positions at multinational corporations including Shell South Africa, South African Airways, Sanlam Limited and Otis Elevators.

Mohale has built a reputation for championing ethical leadership, transformation and social justice across the African continent.

Speaking ahead of the engagements, LGF’s Dr Mncedzi Ngomane said the two sessions would serve different but equally important leadership purposes.

“By hosting CEO Nights and the book review as a public engagement, we are creating two powerful but distinct leadership platforms, one for intimate executive reflection, and another for broader knowledge sharing. Together, they reinforce our commitment to developing leaders who are grounded in purpose, integrity, and impact,” said Ngomane.

The books set to be reviewed each tackle different dimensions of leadership and personal growth.

Lift As You Rise reflects on more than three decades of leadership experience and focuses on transformation, integrity, collaboration and developing others while succeeding.

Behold the Turtle explores ethical leadership, resilience and accountability, encouraging leaders to take courageous and principled action.

Meanwhile, Coming in From the Cold offers a deeply personal account of Mohale’s journey from humble beginnings to becoming a globally respected business leader, highlighting themes of perseverance, purpose and legacy.

LGF has also announced several ticket options for members of the public wishing to attend the book review session.

Attendees may purchase a standard cover charge ticket without a book for E100 per person.

Packages including books are also available, with Lift As You Rise priced at E340 per person, Behold the Turtle at E360 per person, and Coming in From the Cold at E410 per person.

Payments can be made via FNB Eswatini using Account Number 63128425055 with the reference “PP” followed by the attendee’s initials and surname.

Alternatively, payments may be made through Mobile Money using the number 78084000, where attendees are instructed to send a WhatsApp message saying “Hi”.

The Leadership Growth Forum says the initiative forms part of its broader mission to nurture leaders who are driven by integrity, responsibility and lasting impact within Eswatini and beyond.
