MBABANE – Four of Eswatini’s emerging photography and videography brands have joined forces in a creative collaboration aimed at elevating storytelling, strengthening the local creative industry and delivering high-quality productions through unity and innovation.
The partnership brings together Photography By Rhast, Lesihle’s Gallery, Bhek’muzi BK Photography and Combo Nation Photography under the shared slogan: “Four Brands. One Passion.” Operating from the Madlenya Building in Mbabane, the collaboration combines photography, videography and creative storytelling services while allowing each brand to maintain its own artistic identity.
The creatives said the collaboration was formed through mutual respect for one another’s work and a shared desire to create larger productions together.
“We realised that working together could open more opportunities than working alone,” the team said. “The creative industry can be competitive, but collaboration allows us to learn from each other, combine different talents and deliver stronger results to clients.”
The group collectively offers services including weddings, portraits, event coverage, lifestyle shoots, promotional content, interviews and highlight videos. They explained that each brand contributes its own creative perspective while focusing on one shared vision.
“Each brand maintains its own creative identity, editing style and audience, but when we collaborate, we focus on the bigger vision and the needs of the client,” they said.
The team believes Eswatini’s photography and videography industry is growing rapidly due to social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, which have helped local creatives showcase their work and reach wider audiences.
However, they noted that the industry still faces challenges, including expensive equipment, limited resources and the undervaluing of creative work.
“Support from local businesses and communities is very important because it helps creatives grow and sustain their work,” the creatives said. “When communities invest in local talent, it strengthens the creative economy and helps showcase Eswatini’s culture to a wider audience.”
Looking ahead, the collaboration plans to expand beyond Mbabane, mentor upcoming creatives and build a recognised creative movement within the country.
For the team, the phrase “Four Brands. One Passion.” carries a deeper meaning.
“It represents unity, creativity, teamwork and the shared goal of capturing meaningful moments and creating lasting memories through our work,” they said.
