HLATHIKHULU The streets of Eswatini are preparing for a new anthem after Hlathikhulu-based music duo Fanson & Triple Z Musician partnered with One Rib Money Market to release the highly anticipated One Rib Anthem, a song already creating excitement among local music lovers and DJs ahead of its official launch on 26 May 2026.

Blending Afro pop rhythms with authentic township sounds, the song captures the daily experiences of emaSwati hustlers, mobile money users and ordinary citizens trying to make ends meet. From the sound of coins dropping to vendors calling out prices in busy markets, the anthem paints a vivid picture of everyday life in Shiselweni.

Producer Tus Mvulen recorded the track in Matsapha, but the artists said the inspiration came directly from the streets and marketplaces of Hlathikhulu and Mangwaneni.

“We walked through Mangwaneni and Hlathikhulu markets with a mic,” said Fanson. “We recorded real gogos counting coins, vendors shouting prices, and the cha-ching of money. That’s the beat of emaSwati.”

The song’s catchy chorus “One Rib ayikhohlisi, One Rib doesn’t disappoint” has already gained popularity through radio teasers and social media snippets.

Triple Z said the duo wanted the song to feel genuine and relatable to ordinary people.

“This isn’t a fake jingle,” he said. “We sing about buying airtime at 6am, sending money to mum in Lavumisa, and finding a cheap cellphone that lasts. That’s One Rib life.”

One Rib Money Market founder said the company chose music as a creative way to educate young people about saving money and financial services.

“Young people don’t read pamphlets about saving,” he said. “But they listen to Fanson & Triple Z. So we said: let’s put financial literacy in a song. Now you’re dancing and learning where to pay DStv, how to transfer cash, or why One Rib is the spot for your next phone.”

Originally starting as a small airtime distributor, One Rib Money Market has since grown into a recognised mobile money hub offering transfers, bill payments and affordable mobile devices across Eswatini.

The anthem celebrates not only the company’s growth, but also the resilience of its customers and the spirit of young entrepreneurs from rural communities.

Although now based around Hlathikhulu, Fanson & Triple Z Musician originate from Sithobelweni and have built a reputation for producing authentic siSwati music over energetic Afro pop beats enjoyed in taxis, taverns and clubs.

“We represent the boy from the rural area who made it,” said Triple Z. “One Rib is that same story, started small, now it serves the nation.”

The song will be available for free on YouTube and WhatsApp Channels from 26 May 2026, while fans can follow updates and pre-saves through One Rib Money Market’s social media platforms.
