MBABANE – FNB Eswatini has unveiled the Eswatini Post and Telecommunications Corporation (EPTC), Phutfumani and MTN Eswatini as official partners of the 2026 FNB Eswatini Challenge, as preparations gather momentum ahead of the tournament.
The three organisations join AD Enterprises, aQuelle, Oracle Group Eswatini, Sgonian Republik and Destiny Events in supporting the fifth edition of the prestigious golfing tournament.
EPTC will provide internet connectivity at Ezulwini Golf and Country Club throughout tournament week, from August 10 to 15, ensuring seamless communication for tournament operations, media coverage and stakeholder engagement. Through its courier service, Phutfumani, the corporation will also provide logistics support by facilitating the movement of documents, equipment and other tournament materials between Eswatini and South Africa.
Meanwhile, MTN Eswatini’s Golf Park has been designated as the tournament’s official driving range and will also host the inaugural Junior Golf Day, aimed at inspiring and developing the country’s next generation of golfers.
FNB Eswatini Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Sibusile Dlamini said the addition of the three partners reflected the continued growth and increasing stature of the tournament.
“We are really excited to have EPTC, Phutfumani and MTN among our tournament partners for this year’s FNB Eswatini Challenge. It is encouraging to see local organisations of this calibre partnering with us to deliver the Challenge. Their support underscores the growth trajectory of the tournament, and we look forward to delivering a spectacular fifth edition,” said Dlamini.
EPTC CMO Khulile Dlamini said the corporation was proud to once again partner with FNB Eswatini in staging an event that continues to position the Kingdom as a destination for international sport, tourism and business.
“We are proud to once again partner with FNB in this year’s Challenge, which will not only showcase world-class golf but also highlight Eswatini as a premier destination for tourism, business and international sporting events.
“Reliable connectivity is essential for tournament operations, media coverage, stakeholder engagement and ensuring audiences both locally and internationally remain connected to the excitement unfolding in Eswatini.
“Through Phutfumani Couriers, we are also supporting the tournament’s logistics by providing courier services locally and across borders to facilitate the efficient movement of important documents, materials and equipment required for the successful delivery of the tournament. We wish all participants, officials and visitors an enjoyable and memorable FNB Eswatini Challenge,” she said.
MTN Eswatini CMO Meshack Maseko said the telecommunications company was proud to contribute to the tournament’s continued success while creating opportunities for both professional and aspiring golfers.
“We commend FNB Eswatini for the continued growth of the Eswatini Challenge and are delighted to be part of this journey. We look forward to contributing to a successful tournament and creating an inspiring experience for players, spectators and aspiring young golfers alike.
“At MTN Eswatini, we are committed to supporting platforms that create meaningful opportunities for people, promote sporting excellence and contribute to the social and economic development of our country. As Eswatini’s digital life partner, our purpose goes beyond connectivity. We are focused on enabling progress, empowering communities and creating opportunities that help individuals and businesses thrive.
“Sport remains one of the most powerful platforms for inspiring ambition, fostering discipline and bringing communities together. The FNB Eswatini Challenge has established itself as one of the country’s premier sporting events, attracting regional attention while providing local golfers with an opportunity to compete and showcase their talent on a world-class stage.
“This partnership also reflects MTN’s broader ambition to support initiatives that stimulate economic activity, strengthen tourism and elevate Eswatini’s profile as a destination capable of hosting world-class events,” said Maseko.
The FNB Eswatini Challenge forms part of the Sunshine Tour calendar and attracts leading professional golfers from Eswatini and abroad, including South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, Greece and South Korea.
The tournament’s main competition will be staged at Ezulwini Golf and Country Club from August 13 to 15. It will be preceded by a two-day Pro-Am event, where FNB Eswatini clients and stakeholders will have the opportunity to play alongside selected professional golfers.
