MANZINI– The sound of revving engines and burning rubber is set to take over Sidvokodvo this weekend as Swazi Rally 2026 adds car-spinning action to its motorsport programme.
The event, scheduled for 28–30 August, is expected to attract motorsport enthusiasts with a line-up of car spinners from Eswatini and neighbouring countries.Among those featured are Team Brema (SD), Jigzo, Gwekazi (SD), Preshu (SA) and a Mozambique crew, according to the event organisers.
The car-spinning showcase is expected to bring a different kind of energy to the rally, with drivers putting their vehicles through high-speed spins while crowds watch the tyres smoke and engines roar. Organizers described the spectacle as a showcase of “hardcore spin vibes”, promising screaming engines, smoking tyres, big spins and high-energy action.
Beyond the spinning, the weekend forms part of the broader Swazi Rally 2026 programme, bringing together motorsport enthusiasts and spectators for a weekend centred around cars and entertainment.
The event is also catering for younger motorsport fans, with a special kids’ ticket available for Saturday.General gate admission is listed at E380, while the Saturday kids’ ticket costs E150. Tickets are available at the gate.With drivers from across the region expected to join the action, the car-spinning segment could become one of the weekend’s loudest attractions.
For spectators, the ingredients are already lined up: roaring engines, smoking tyres, spinning cars and plenty of sideways action as Sidvokodvo prepares for a noisy weekend of motorsport.
