SITEKI– Eswatini’s rising star, As 4 Jerry P, has reached a significant career milestone as his latest single, “Inkhanyeti,” featuring Lyrikal Busta, officially debuted on South Africa’s Ligwalagwala FM.
The track was premiered by the well-known host Fortune Ntekati during the popular “Asambe Drive Show.”
This debut is a major achievement for the Eswatini-born artist, as the SABC Mpumalanga-based station serves as a vital bridge for a majority of emaSwati residing in both South Africa and Eswatini. “Inkhanyeti” is notably the second single from As 4 Jerry P to be playlisted on this influential station. It follows the success of his debut single, “Mlentengamunye,” which first introduced his unique sound to the regional audience.
The path to this radio debut was paved by direct interest from the station’s management. The artist’s team revealed that the station’s music compiler, Mr. Siboniso Hadebe, personally reached out to them. “The station’s music compiler Mr. Siboniso Hadebe reached out to us via an email saying ‘Sanibonani boNgwane sicela Inkhanyeti by As JerryP’,” the team shared. Recognizing the opportunity to reach a massive audience, they responded immediately by forwarding the track.
The collaboration with Lyrikal Busta on “Inkhanyeti” has proven to be a winning formula, further cementing As 4 Jerry P’s reputation as a serious contender in the music industry. By securing a spot on the Ligwalagwala FM playlist once again, he has demonstrated consistency and a growing appeal that transcends borders.
