MLAWULA-The chicken has finally hatched! After days of clues, guesses and suspense, the secret is officially out — South African songstress Boohle is the latest star added to the Mlawula Campfire Festival 2026 line-up.
Organisers confirmed the exciting reveal this week, announcing that Boohle will take to the stage at Mlawula Nature Reserve from 25–27 September 2026, bringing her soulful sound and high-energy performance to what promises to be an unforgettable weekend in the wild.
The announcement brings an end to the guessing game that had festival followers scratching their heads as they tried to identify the mystery artist behind the clues.
Three fans — Simiso Samshe Simelane, Matt Bothma and Muzi Chaboy Mathunjwa — emerged as the lucky winners after correctly guessing Boohle. The trio has been asked to inbox their contacts to claim their prizes.
Born Buhlebevangeli Manyathi, Boohle is a South African singer and songwriter whose music has made waves across the African music scene. She is known for her distinctive vocals and has built a strong following through her work in Amapiano, Afro-house and soulful sounds.
Her breakthrough came through collaborations with some of South Africa’s biggest Amapiano names, helping establish her as one of the genre’s recognisable female voices. Tracks such as “Yini Na,” “Siyathandana” and her collaborations with leading producers have further cemented her place in the contemporary South African music landscape.
Now, the Eswatini audience gets its chance to experience Boohle live, surrounded by the sounds of nature and the glow of the campfire.
With live music, entertainment and the outdoors forming the heart of the festival, her addition is expected to turn up the temperature when the Campfire lights up Mlawula.
The countdown is officially on. Boohle is coming to Mlawula — and the fire is getting bigger.
