MBABANE – South African Amapiano star Busta 929 has officially joined the line-up for Spring Fest 2026, with organisers promising an unforgettable experience for music lovers when the event takes place on August 29 at Siphocosini Embo Views.
Home Ground Entertainment confirmed the booking on social media, describing it as a major addition to this year’s festival.
“Amapiano lovers, this is your moment! Get ready for heavy bass, infectious log drums and non-stop vibes from day to night. We’re bringing the heat to Siphocosini Embo Views, and trust us—you don’t want to hear about it, you want to LIVE it,” the organisers said.
The event will also feature performances by local acts including Young Zesh, Ayacity, Bandora, Sweet Shandis, Cool Drop, Thaifo Son, The Dee, Queen N, Corrosive DJ, Gifted, Kosie, Skyloe, Mahota and Tutubuti, while Flame Masco will host the festival.
Tickets are currently on sale, with pre-sale tickets going for R100, general admission at R200, and VIP tickets costing R500.
Born Thapelo Theo Ndou, Busta 929 is one of South Africa’s most influential Amapiano producers, DJs and performers. He rose to prominence through his chart-topping projects and collaborations with some of the biggest names in the genre. He is best known for hit songs including Umsebenzi Wethu, Mmapula, Ngixolele and Nkulunkulu, which have earned millions of streams and cemented his place as one of Amapiano’s leading hitmakers.
Known for his energetic live performances and distinctive production style, Busta 929 has performed at major festivals and events across Southern Africa, making him one of the most sought-after artists in the Amapiano scene.
Spring Fest has established itself as one of Eswatini’s growing lifestyle and music festivals, bringing together local and international artists while promoting youth culture and live entertainment. Organisers say this year’s edition will continue that tradition by delivering a day filled with music, culture and unforgettable performances.
With Busta 929 now confirmed, anticipation is expected to build as fans count down to one of the country’s biggest Amapiano celebrations.
