MBABANE – Deputy Prime Minister Senator Thulisile Dladla has joined regional leaders, dignitaries and mourners in Botswana to pay tribute to former President Festus Mogae during a funeral service held at the University of Botswana.
Representing His Majesty King Mswati III and the Government of Eswatini, the Deputy Prime Minister conveyed condolences to the people of Botswana and praised Mogae for his leadership and contribution to regional development.
The late former President Mogae was widely respected across Africa for promoting good governance, economic stability and cooperation among African nations during his tenure as Botswana’s Head of State.
Leaders attending the funeral described him as a dedicated servant of the people whose legacy will continue to inspire future generations across the continent.
